Difficult Move
Our move from Morris County to Ocean County NJ. was a tough two day process. It consisted of a crew of seven and two trucks which were packed to the max. Ed C the sales associate was our initial contact and provided the estimate of cost and crew after inspection of our home. Ed remained the coordinator throughout the move and was very helpful. Fred was the head of the crew and oversaw the actual move. The entire crew was very professional and extremely hardworking. They prepared and protected both the home we moved from and the home we moved to, prior to loading and unloading. It was an extensive move of significant furnishings and over 100 boxes. While there was some minimal damage, which could be expected, the overall move was excellent. I would highly recommend JD Carton for their professionalism and talented team.
Stress-free long distance move
We recently moved from NJ to NC and used JD Carton to estimate and pack our goods. Another Allied agent hauled us. Ed C (sales) was professional, personable, knowledgeable & very good about communicating before, during & after the move. This is exactly what we needed to ensure our satisfaction. Packers were great, showed up on time and packed our entire house in 1/2 day. Driver & crew arrived on time at both origin & destination and were also professional and hard working. Allied gets an A+.
Outstanding
The personal items move was outstanding Ed (the sales man)and James ( the driver) explained everything and kept there word. However the company ( moveauto) told me nothing but lies and excuses. If I was jdcarton or allied, I would never recommend the company again.
Apartment to Storage Unit then Storage to Out of S
JD Carton & Sons did a great job moving my son from his apartment to storage and then packed it back to move to New York! There were so helpful and courteous in helping us in cutting open our boxes and moving the furniture to the right spot in his new place! I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to move!

JD Carton was very accommodating. Making the appointment to see our home where our furniture had to be moved from was effortless. Our move was a 2 day process of emptying our old house on day one and delivering to the new home on day two. In both instances, the crew was on time, very professional, and experienced. There was no damage and they met all of our needs. I highly recommend them without any hesitation.
We had a complex move
We had a complex move involving part of our home going from New Jersey to Tucson, Arizona and some going to Boston. JD Carton was great to deal with throughout the process. Very responsive with well thought out answers to our questions. We felt that their pricing was very competitive with other quotes and they were reasonable when we added to the move amounts even after we had already booked with them. The movers were courteous and professional. They delivered our furniture at the agreed upon dates. I hope never to have to move again, but if I were to, I would not hesitate to use JD Carton/Allied again.

Stupendous!
We had a small move scheduled. The crew of Glen, Carlos and Gonzalez arrived precisely when we were told they would and got straight to work. They were friendly, considerate and efficient (and they even let my husband think he was being helpful). We had a few difficult parts to our move, a large bunk bed, narrow halls, staircases, but the team deftly maneuvered all pieces from one home into another with not even as much as a smudged wall. What a fantastic crew!
